It’s official, Martin’s Gate will be the 2023 Cincinnati Homearama – URBAN EDITION! Marking the 60th Anniversary of the show, this one of a kind neighborhood with million-dollar views of downtown Cincinnati is the perfect way to celebrate the show’s diamond anniversary. Be sure to mark your calendars and save the date for the two-week show, June 10 – 25, 2023 in Martin’s Gate in Newport. A milestone celebration, the 2023 Homearama will feature work by three different home builders with four single family custom homes over $1,000,000 and six semi-custom townhomes starting in the $700s.
Our award-winning design team has finalized the exterior design and selections and all we can say is, “We’re in love!” Architect, Darren Myers of Bowerman Myers, and Interior Designer, Amy Holt of Design on Madison, have been working for months with the Thomas Family and builder, Alan Gerbus, to create a modern, yet warm home that will feature incredible indoor and outdoor living spaces including an elevator to the roof top deck!
Meet the Architect: Bowerman Myers Architects, Ltd. creates custom residential and lite commercial architecture designs. The Cincinnati-based firm was founded by Ken Bowerman in 1983 to produce designs that clients love and builders appreciate. Darren Myers, now the firm’s managing principal and lead architect, has been with the company since 2003. He brings three decades of architectural experience, along with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky and a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. Myers has dedicated himself to one simple goal: creating high-quality designs that bring dreams to reality.
Meet the Designer: After nearly 15 years of working in various aspects of the design industry, Amy Holt founded Designs on Madison as a way to harness the creative range and diversity of Cincinnati’s interior design community. Amy is drawn to great textures and patterns and often begins her creative process with their many interpretations in fabric. Having graduated magna cum laude from Antonelli College, Amy kicked off her design career 14 years ago and started collecting awards right away. Since 2003 alone she has designed more than 20 Homearama, Lifestyle, and Citirama homes, and won first-place recognition from Cincinnati Magazine, as the Peoples’ Choice, and as the creator of the favorite interior design of 2009. She continues her artistry today with a portfolio of creative interiors that are warm and cozy. As one of seven children and the founder of Designs on Madison, Amy is most comfortable with compromise and uniquely qualified to integrate a client’s ideas, wants, and needs into design that carries them beyond what they ever dreamed possible.
