Founded in 1934, the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati has been actively making a difference in the greater Cincinnati area for nearly nine decades. The trade association represents builder and associate member companies including about 15,000 employees. The organization promotes professionalism, educational opportunities, economic growth, community development, and community outreach. The HBA is actively involved in the Careers in Construction, a program that introduces a career in construction to students of area high schools. HBA members can be found volunteering on boards of community non-profits and donating time, experience and funds to community outreach programs like the custom doghouse raffle that will benefit area rescue organizations.
Open now through October 3, the 58th HOMEARAMA® comes home to Anderson Township at Parkside Estates at Coldstream. An annual event of the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati, this year’s show features five fully decorated and landscaped homes by some of the area’s finest luxury home builders. Homearama guests will find fun, inspiration and events including the custom Maverick tiny home and the luxury doghouse tour that leaves visitors bidding and panting at a chance to win one of these custom doghouses that will benefit local rescue organizations across the greater Cincinnati area. One of the best ways to tour custom homes in Cincinnati, tickets and additional information (including show hours) are available at cincyhomearama.com.
A second generation custom home builder and the 2019 President of the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati, Alan Gerbus has been active in the association for decades. A past member of the association’s Board of Directors, Alan has also been a participant in the association’s Dancing with the Stars to benefit the HBA’s Careers in Construction Program.” Homes by Gerbus has benefited greatly from the efforts of the association. From education to marketing exposure from HOMEARAMA®, CiTiRAMA®, and CiTiSCAPE® to legislative efforts that help improve the building climate of Cincinnati, we wouldn’t be where we are without this incredible organization,” said Alan Gerbus, President of Homes by Gerbus.
