Whether you are preparing your home for a speedy sale so you can build your custom home in Cincinnati or giving yourself a much needed kitchen facelift, there are a few easy tips that all the pros agree on when it comes to decluttering your kitchen.
• Clear off the counters of unused items including under used appliances. Keep the essentials, like the coffee maker, a cute tray of olive oil and salt and pepper, and a glass bowl of colorful fresh fruit. The rest can go!
• Organize the spice cabinet with fresh spices in clear jars and store in the cabinet on a stair-type or stackable shelf.
• Refresh the garbage disposal by pouring in 3 tablespoons of baking soda. Let it sit for a few hours, follow up with water, and run the disposal. Keep your disposal citrus fresh by putting lemon, grapefruit, or orange peels through the drain.
• Tackle the storage containers by keeping only containers that have matching lids. Pro tip, stick with square containers that better fit in your pantry and refrigerator.

• Ditch the duplicate utensils and purge your endless mug collection.
• Hang new dish towels.
• Get a fancy hand soap in a stylish dispenser.
• Clear off the fridge – no menus, no magnets, not post-it-notes!

• Clear the pantry. If you’re not using it, get rid of it! Sort and store items in stylish baskets and bins so you can see what you have in stock.
• Downsize your cleaning supplies.
• Create a shopping list and stick with it.
